Cooperation to improve the capacity of medical staff

In Ho Chi Minh City, a representative of Pfizer Vietnam Pharmaceutical Company has just signed a cooperation agreement with Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination system in training to improve the capacity of medical staff.

The two sides officially signed a two-year memorandum of understanding to improve the capacity of thousands of medical staff of the Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination system nationwide, contributing to improving the quality of community health care services.

Accordingly, a series of activities to share and update scientific knowledge (directly and online) were deployed, focusing on information about pathology, prevention and treatment options.

Focus includes: Enhancing the capacity of health professionals to proactively update new information on disease burden, clinical trials and preventive treatment options for respiratory diseases, serious infections...

Improve pharmacists' knowledge and clinical experience in disease prevention and management through conferences; at the same time, upgrade practical data on prevention and treatment, especially for patients with chronic non-communicable diseases.

Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system currently has 2,240 pharmacies and 190 vaccination centers.

The cooperation between Pfizer Vietnam and Long Chau marks a trend of combining the international pharmaceutical sector and the domestic healthcare system to improve the quality of healthcare according to international standards.
