“I have been coming to Saigon General Hospital for many years. Today, when the hospital organized a music program, the melodies made me feel like I was back in my childhood.

I am truly touched and hope that this activity will continue to be maintained and spread, so that many other patients can also relax and be at peace like me. Listening to music makes me feel much healthier,” Ms. NTL (80 years old, living in Ben Thanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City) shared on the morning of October 2.

Similarly, Mr. TVV (45 years old, residing in Nguyen Cu Trinh ward, Ho Chi Minh City) expressed: “Familiar melodies help me relax, forget the feeling of fatigue due to illness. Instead, I feel warmer, more optimistic and love life more”.

Trevor, from Queensland (Australia), revealed: “In our country, some hospitals used to have pianos, but almost no one played them and patients paid little attention.

I was impressed to know that this music performance at your hospital was organized by volunteers, and even more special was that it was performed by the hospital staff themselves."

Dr. Phan Quoc Linh, Head of Traditional Medicine Department, Saigon General Hospital, said that “White Blouse Melody” is a bridge between medicine and art, between physical care and spiritual nourishment.
