Excellent training at the heroic 395th Division

Thanks to a comprehensive set of solutions, the training results of the 395th Division, Military Region 3, have continuously improved; many units have consistently achieved and maintained the title of "Excellent Training Unit". The Division has always excellently completed all assigned tasks, living up to its tradition of "Unity, offensive action, excellent training, and victory".

The 395th Division was established on December 26, 1974. As a unit with the primary mission of training and combat readiness, the Party Committee and command of the 395th Division, Military Region 3, have always focused on leading and directing the implementation of many comprehensive solutions to improve training quality; meeting the requirements for readiness to mobilize and perform tasks in all situations.

Over more than 50 years of building, fighting, and maturing, successive generations of officers and soldiers of the 395th Division have forged the tradition of "Unity, offensive action, excellent training, and victory." In all tasks, the 395th Division always upholds the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army, a revolutionary army, originating from the people and fighting for the people; a special political force, a fighting force that is absolutely loyal and trustworthy to the Party, the State, and the people; a fighting force, a working force, and a productive labor force.

Over the years, in response to the requirement of building the Vietnam People's Army into a "revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern" force, the Party Committee and command of the 395th Division, Military Region 3, have consistently done a good job in political and ideological education , building strong political resolve, solidarity, and proactive problem-solving skills among the division's officers and soldiers, ensuring they are ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks; building a clean and strong Party Committee and other Party organizations within the Division, in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel; and continuously improving the comprehensive leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations and members.

Colonel Le Hong Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the 395th Division, shared: “Today, the officers and soldiers of the Division are always proud of the glorious traditions of the previous generations. That is an important motivation for us to strive to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the assigned tasks; especially the tasks of training, combat readiness, and achieving victory in all situations.”

Simultaneously, to effectively carry out training and combat readiness tasks, the Party committees and commanders at all levels in the 395th Division have thoroughly understood and strictly implemented resolutions, directives, and orders from superiors regarding training; done a good job of preparing facilities, models, teaching aids, training grounds, and practice areas; focused on training and developing cadres at all levels; and organized training according to the motto "Basic, practical, and solid." This included focusing on mastering existing weapons and equipment; organizing exercises closely aligned with the terrain, targets, and actual combat situations; and ensuring quality and effectiveness in coordinated combat operations between different branches of the armed forces and coordinated combat operations within the defense zone.

According to Colonel Nguyen Huy Toan, Commander of the 395th Division, based on the synchronized implementation of various solutions, the Division's training results consistently meet and exceed the resolution's targets, with many units continuously achieving and maintaining the title of "Excellent Training Unit". The Division always excellently completes all assigned tasks, worthy of the tradition of "Unity, offensive, excellent training, victorious battle"; at the same time, contributing to enhancing the tradition of "Unity, proactiveness, creativity, sacrifice, victory" of the armed forces of Military Region 3 and the tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

Major General Luong Van Kiem (now Lieutenant General), Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Military Region, inspected the communication and information security work during the 2024 one-sided, two-level command and staff exercise of the Division .
