| Tourists visit the space introducing local products at the "Tet Hue " program in 2023 |
The Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee has just issued a plan to organize the "Tet Hue" Festival in 2024. This is a series of activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring of Hue City to continue, promote the achievements and elevate the "Tet Hue" programs successfully organized since 2018, while affirming the brand and position of the Festival City.
The program is organized with activities taking place on the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2024, from February 1 to 19, 2024. The opening is the art program "Bright Spring" taking place on the evening of January 1 at Hai Ba Trung Walking Street and ending with the Sinh Village Wrestling Festival taking place on February 19 in Phu Mau Commune. In particular, the program "Tet Hue" will take place for 5 days from February 1 to 5, 2024 at Ngo Mon Square Hue with activities such as the opening of the "Tet Hue" Festival and the "Tet Hue" program; traditional jam and cake making contest; "Taste of Tet" Chung cake and Tet cake wrapping and cooking contest; space to introduce, promote, display Hue products, souvenirs, handicrafts, specialties, typical products of the locality, businesses in the area; "Spring Market - Memory Land" space...
The 2024 Hue Tet Festival also includes an incense offering ceremony and an art program reenacting the coronation ceremony and the defeat of the Qing army by Emperor Quang Trung on January 6 at Ban Mountain; the Giap Thin Spring Festival from February 3 to 14; an art program welcoming the New Year at Quoc Hoc Square stage on February 9; a comprehensive music and dance program celebrating Spring on February 11 at Quoc Hoc Square stage...
