Hue implements measures to stimulate tourism development in 2025.

This plan is in response to the National Tourism Stimulus Program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Vietnam - Travel to Love". At the same time, it contributes to achieving the target of welcoming approximately 5.0 - 5.5 million tourists to Hue in 2025, with total tourism revenue of around 11,000 - 12,000 billion VND; creating momentum for growth in the following years, meeting the requirements for accelerated and breakthrough development of the tourism industry in line with the development roadmap of the economy in the era of national progress.

According to the plan, Hue will implement several key initiatives such as: offering price and service incentives to enhance the tourist experience; organizing activities to stimulate demand and attract tourists; communicating and promoting events to stimulate demand and attract tourists; and linking destinations and service products to create promotional packages for tourists.

Hue City will also organize activities to stimulate demand and attract tourists through activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025. These activities will be organized throughout the year, following a four-season approach.

As part of its tourism stimulus plan, Hue City will organize promotional activities abroad, such as a Cultural and Tourism Festival and a program introducing Vietnamese tourism, cuisine, and traditional crafts; connecting businesses in the European market; organizing a tourism promotion program for two localities (Hue and Da Nang) in Malaysia and Indonesia; and participating in the KITS International Tourism Fair in South Korea (according to the program of the Vietnam Tourism Association)...

In addition, destinations and service products will be linked to create stimulus packages for tourists. Localities, associations, and businesses in the area will proactively develop and sell tourism packages associated with the unique characteristics of Hue tourism, such as: Culinary tourism packages, exploiting the essence of Hue's culinary culture; Golf tourism packages, linked to tours of cultural heritage sites and scenic spots in Hue; and Cultural and heritage tourism packages, focusing on the strengths of tangible and intangible heritage.

On this occasion, Hue City encourages businesses to produce unique and advantageous products and items reflecting the local identity as gifts and souvenirs for tourists. It also promotes linking businesses in the tourism supply chain—from transportation, shopping, food, sightseeing, accommodation, and events—to create attractive packages to stimulate tourism and encourage community participation in tourism activities.

With its specific, well-structured, and practical implementation, the 2025 tourism stimulus program is expected to not only revive but also strongly boost Hue's tourism industry, making a positive contribution to local economic growth.
