Instructions for registering for online academic transcript review

🎓 FOR CANDIDATES WHO GRADUATED IN 2025 OR EARLIER (INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES)
The registration process can be summarized in 6 steps as follows:

🔗 Step 1: Access the admissions system: https://xettuyen.hou.edu.vn

📝 Step 2: After accessing the system, candidates need to register a new account in the "Register Now" section to receive email notifications and use the registered account to access the admissions portal.

🔐 Step 3: Use your citizen ID number as your username and the password you created to log in.

📋 Step 4: Candidates click the "Register for Admission" button for the academic transcript-based admission method and fill in their personal information according to the required fields.

🖨️ Step 5: Print the registration form by clicking the "Print registration form" button and double-check the information on the form before printing. After checking, candidates need to print and sign the form and submit it along with the application documents (hard copy) in person or send it by mail before 5:00 PM on July 9, 2026.

👉 Step 6: Candidates graduating in 2025 or earlier must register an account on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system from May 1st to May 20th, 2026. Then, submit their application to the school according to the instructions above and continue registering and adjusting their preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system from July 2nd to July 14th, 2026 (5:00 PM) according to the Ministry of Education and Training's general plan.

📂 The regulations for submitting hard copies of documents are as follows:
📘 Candidates applying for admission based on high school academic results (transcript – Code 200) need to submit:
– Application form for admission based on academic transcripts (Printed directly from the registered system).
– Certified copies of high school transcripts for all 6 semesters.
– Certified copies of relevant documents proving eligibility for regional or preferential treatment points (if applicable).
– Certified copy of Citizen Identification Card/National Identity Card.
🎨 Candidates applying for admission based on a combination of high school academic results and drawing aptitude test scores (code 406) need to submit:
– Application form for admission based on academic transcripts (Printed directly from the registered system).
– Certified copies of high school transcripts for all 6 semesters.
– Certified copies of relevant documents proving eligibility for regional or preferential treatment points (if applicable).
– Original drawing aptitude test score sheet from 2026 (in case the candidate took the test at a different university).
– Certified copy of Citizen Identification Card/National Identity Card.
🎓 FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS IN 2026
– Candidates only need to register and adjust their preferences through the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system during the period from July 2nd to July 14th, 2026 (5:00 PM).
– The school will use the high school (vocational high school) academic results of candidates on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Support System to proactively download the data to review the registration requirements and then update the reviewed data to the admissions system for candidates applying for admission to Hanoi Open University to facilitate the admissions process.
– For method 406, candidates graduating in 2026 should note that they need to submit:
+ Original drawing aptitude test score sheet from 2026 (in case the candidate took the test at a different university)
+ Certified copy of Citizen Identification Card/National Identity Card.
The deadline for submission to the School is 5:00 PM on June 17, 2026.
📌 Information regarding the academic transcript review process that candidates should note:
🌟 Admission method code 200: The university is accepting applications for two majors: Biotechnology and Food Technology.
+ Candidates applying for admission based on their high school academic results and the subjects in the entrance exam must have an average GPA for all subjects in grades 10, 11, and 12 (including regional and preferential treatment points).
🌟 Admission method code 406: The school considers applications for four majors: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Architecture.
+ Applicants must have an average academic score for all subjects in grades 10, 11, and 12 corresponding to the chosen subject combination for the chosen major, combined with the drawing aptitude test score from the high school graduation exam (including regional and preferential treatment points). The high school graduation exam must not have any cultural subjects with a score of 5.0 or lower, and the aptitude test score must not be 1.0 or lower.
