Earlier that day, at 9 a.m., local authorities mobilized more than 20 drones to observe from above and search for victims.

After many hours of coordinated search efforts, at approximately 1:05 PM on April 13th, the body of the remaining victim (twin brother) was found in the sea off a tourist area near Truong Sa road.

The body of the older brother in the twin brothers' disappearance while swimming at the beach has been recovered by authorities.

Earlier, at 10 PM on April 12th, search teams found the body of the twin sister near Non Nuoc beach, about 1 km from the scene where the two siblings met with the accident.

Mr. Huynh Quang Trung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Hai Ward, said that the family circumstances of the two twin brothers involved in the accident are very difficult. Their parents are manual laborers, with the mother working as a cleaner and living in rented accommodation in Hoa Hai Ward.

As Thanh Nien newspaper reported, at 9:00 AM on April 12th, the People's Committee of Hoa Hai Ward received a report of a drowning incident while swimming in the sea. The two students involved were PGB and PBT (14 years old, twin brothers, 8th grade students at Huynh Ba Chanh Secondary School, Hoa Hai Ward) who went swimming with a group of classmates at Tan Tra beach, located along Truong Sa road (Hoa Hai Ward).

While swimming, B. and T. were unfortunately swept away by the waves and went missing. Upon discovering the incident, their friends shouted for help from nearby residents, but it was too late.

Police forces, militia, border guards, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, staff from surrounding resorts, and local people actively participated in the search for the two twin brothers who were swept away by the water.
