At 8:00 a.m. on Saturday (April 12), at Passion pickleball court (121 Le Huu Kieu, Binh Trung Tay ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city), Thanh Nien Newspaper organized the "Continue your life with your children " pickleball tournament to raise money to help 20 orphans after the Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh city.
This is the second time the "Continue Life with My Children" pickleball tournament has been held and will award 20 orphans 5 million VND each (total cost 100 million VND) to help them cover their education costs.
The budget of 100 million VND was supported by RuNam with 20 million, Minh Tuan Mobile with 40 million, Van An Phat Land Company with 30 million, and lawyer Truong Anh Tu with 10 million VND. On this occasion, Miss Environment World 2023 Nguyen Thanh Ha presented 200 notebooks to the children.

Continuing life with children has made 64.5 billion VND
Launched on September 16, 2021, the program "Continue Life with Children" launched by Thanh Nien Newspaper aims to provide long-term care and sponsorship for orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic when they unfortunately lose their father, mother, or both parents due to the pandemic.
As of January 2025, the total amount of long-term sponsorship, emergency grants and scholarships for children orphaned by Covid-19 through the program "Continue Life with Children" is 64.5 billion VND. Of which, emergency support for children after the pandemic has just passed is 4.3 billion VND. Scholarships and other activities (organizing for children to enjoy Mid-Autumn Festival, summer travel, health check-ups, Tet lucky money, Children's Day, giving gifts at the beginning of the new school year...) are 2.7 billion VND and long-term sponsorship for 444 children is 57.5 billion VND.
In addition to taking care of the children's material needs, the program "Continuing Life with Children" also takes care of their spiritual lives, so that they can soon overcome the circumstances and shocks in their lives when they lose their beloved shoulder after the Covid-19 pandemic.
That is to carry out the Confidential Letter column so that children have the opportunity to open their hearts about past events, dreams for the future... It is to carry out summer tours so that children can relieve stress after months of studying; or to take care of their health through a general health check-up program.
During holidays, the program "Continuing Life with Children" always organizes meetings with the children at the Thanh Nien common house, so that the children can play, interact, receive gifts, eat cakes... This is also an opportunity for the Thanh Nien Newspaper's program staff to meet the children again, see them grow up day by day and especially, the happy smiles have gradually returned to their beautiful faces.
