Krong Ana District: Providing 151 tons of fertilizer to farmers

On the morning of June 11, the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Krong Ana district organized the delivery and receipt of agricultural materials to implement the Project to support production linkage in coffee care and consumption in Dray Sap commune (Krong Ana district).

This is a project under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 Period (Program 1719).

At the ceremony, Head of the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Krong Ana district H'Ban Nie Kdam gave general information about the Project to support production linkage in coffee care and consumption in Dray Sap commune.

Accordingly, the above project is invested by the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Krong Ana district, implemented within 60 months from 2025; Ede Coffee Joint Stock Company (located in Kla village, Dray Sap commune) is the joint-venture unit.

The project has 71 ethnic minority households in KLa village, Tuor A village, Tuor B village of Dray Sap commune with an area of 69 hectares (3rd year of business).

The total cost of the project is over 3,896 billion VND, of which the State budget is over 1,981 billion VND, the counterpart budget of the joint host unit is over 38.24 million VND, and the counterpart capital of the people is about 1,876 billion VND in labor.

Farmers participating in the project are supported with 50% of the value of pesticides and fertilizers to ensure they meet requirements, quality and are timely; they take care of, harvest and preserve coffee according to the technical instructions and production plan of Ede Coffee Joint Stock Company.

The general objective of the project is to form and develop a safe coffee production area, linking production according to the value chain from production to processing and consumption of coffee in Dray Sap commune, thereby improving productivity and quality of coffee, promoting replanting and improving coffee and introducing high-yield, high-quality varieties that adapt to climate change into production; promoting the application of scientific and technical advances in planting, caring, harvesting, preliminary processing, processing and preservation according to a sustainable and safe coffee chain, associated with environmental protection, contributing to the implementation of Program 1719 in Krong Ana district. At the same time, ensuring stable output and expected to increase income for coffee growers by an average of 11.6%.

At the ceremony, representatives of Ede Coffee Joint Stock Company and farmers participating in the project signed a contract to deliver and receive fertilizers and committed to deploying and implementing the project. The Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Krong Ana district provided 151 tons of fertilizers including Phu My NPK fertilizer and microbial fertilizers to 71 households.
