The iOS 18 update was released on September 17th (Vietnam time), compatible with iPhone SE 2, iPhone SE 3, and iPhone XR and later models. The four iPhone 16 series models will come pre-installed with the software when they reach customers.
Recently, on Reddit, the Apple support community, and the tech site MacRumors, many users have reported experiencing battery drain on their iPhones running iOS 18. This issue isn't limited to older iPhones; it's affecting even the newly released iPhone 16.

Specifically, many people regret updating to iOS 18 because it causes their phone batteries to drain quickly, and this continues even after a month. This leads to a rapid decrease in the device's battery health.
Some users have reported that the issue has improved somewhat with the iOS 18.0.1 and iOS 18.1 beta updates.
Apple has not yet commented on the matter.
iOS 18 includes new Home Screen customization features, an upgraded Messages app, a completely redesigned Photos app, and several hidden features such as: power on and off without physical buttons, sharing Wi-Fi passwords via QR code, adjusting flashlight beam width, hiding app labels on the Home screen, and turning apps into widgets directly on the Home screen.
