According to a survey by Dan Tri newspaper reporters, the iPhone 14 Plus has gradually disappeared from official retail shelves in the Vietnamese market. Many authorized Apple dealers have confirmed that this model is out of stock and has ceased sales.

Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of the Apple product line at Di Dong Viet system, said: "We have proactively stopped selling the iPhone 14 Plus in order to optimize our product portfolio and better suit consumer trends."
"In reality, the sales of iPhone Plus models in the Vietnamese market are not as high as expected. This is also why we want to promote other versions to meet the actual needs of consumers."
Since mid-February, Apple has quietly discontinued the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, shortly after introducing the iPhone 16e. This marks the first time Apple has discontinued a non-Pro iPhone model mid-cycle, instead of maintaining it as a budget-friendly option.
However, the iPhone 14 is still being sold by retailers, while the Plus version has almost completely disappeared from official stores.
Retailers also shared that the iPhone 14 Plus did not receive much attention from Vietnamese consumers upon its release. Sales of this model accounted for only a small fraction of the total iPhone sales.
In the near future, the iPhone 15 Plus will become the flagship product, replacing the iPhone 14 Plus. Currently, the 128GB version of the iPhone 15 Plus is being offered at a price of 19 million VND.

A representative from Minh Tuan Mobile shared: "Sales of iPhone Plus versions have tended to increase slightly year after year thanks to improvements and upgrades in each generation. However, this growth has not yet met expectations."
According to experts, the iPhone purchasing habits of Vietnamese users are distinctly differentiated. In the high-end segment, users prioritize choosing the Pro Max version.
Meanwhile, in the mid-range to upper-mid-range segment of the standard iPhone, users prefer compact, easy-to-hold devices with more affordable prices. This is why sales of the iPhone 14 have surpassed those of the iPhone 14 Plus.
