On social media, Iranians shared their feelings:
Journalist Elaheh Mohammadi said: "We're accessing the internet again like before, messaging each other. Many people can't believe we've survived all this time!"

"The internet outage caused significant losses for many businesses. We also went through 80 days without income. Thank goodness the internet is back online, so starting tomorrow, we'll be back to work!"
Prior to this, most Iranians were unable to access the global internet for 87 days. Only a select few gained access thanks to VPNs.


Iran cut off internet access for the first time since January 8th to deal with protests.
Iran initially shut down its internet service on January 8th to quell protests. Following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran on February 28th, the authorities imposed a second internet outage.
