Calling for 21 fishing boats to take shelter from storm No. 6 at Con Co island

QTO - Information from Con Co Border Guard Station said that by 3:00 p.m. on August 30, the unit had called on 21 ships/68 crew members from other provinces to anchor safely at Con Co island to avoid storm No. 6.

The above fishing boats are operating in the fishing grounds around Con Co special zone. According to information, it is currently raining and wind level 5-6 in Con Co special zone.

Up to this point, Con Co Border Post has organized two storm warning shots to call fishing boats in the area around the island to take shelter. The unit also deployed forces to ensure security and order in the area and is ready to support some necessities for fishermen when necessary.
