Coming to this year's competition, the group of Minh Chau, Thuc Anh, and Diep Anh impressed the judges and the audience with their entry titled "Fairy tales from around the world". They transformed into fairy tale characters from Vietnam and the world to share meaningful lessons and the spirit of reaching out to the world of Vietnamese children.

Thuc Anh said that this is the second consecutive year she has participated in the "Vietnamese Children - Reaching Out to the World" playground. This year, the competition is organized into many rounds with a new format. After the individual round, we will form teams to compete in presentations. This is an opportunity for students from all over the country to cooperate and exchange,” Thuc Anh confided.

Minh Chau also shared: “When working with my friends, I learned many useful things, not only in pronunciation and presentation in English but also in expanding my knowledge about the culture of the nation. This helps us nurture patriotism and confidence. I feel very happy to contribute a small part to this year's competition.”

With their creative performance, the team of Thuc Anh, Minh Chau, and Diep Anh won third prize in the final round of the "Vietnamese Children - Reaching Out to the World" contest in 2024-2025.

This year, after nearly 6 months of implementation, more than 31,535 children nationwide have registered to participate. In the online rounds, the children practiced pronunciation, listening and speaking English on the application with a variety of content; introducing the history and unique cultural features of the homeland, country and people of Vietnam.

In the final ranking round, the 6 best teams selected from 20 teams boldly demonstrated their diverse and rich understanding of countries around the world through vivid and unique performances.

Vice President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children, Le Anh Quan, assessed that many children in remote areas, ethnic minority areas or children at a very young age have very good English skills.

“The children have truly become special cultural ambassadors to introduce the friendly and united relationship between Vietnam and other countries in the world to the community, family and friends. From this playground, each child will have more understanding about the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people and the cultures of other countries in the world, thereby accumulating and cultivating knowledge and skills to have enough strength to “reach out to the world” in the near future,” said Mr. Quan.
