Tran Thien Hung (born in 1990) had an early affinity with information technology since his school years. After graduating from university and deciding to return to his hometown to start a business, his journey is a story of constant efforts in applying technology to improve work efficiency.

“In 2017, I boldly participated and won first prize at the provincial youth IT competition. Then, I was honored to win second prize individually and third prize collectively at the national IT competition for young cadres and civil servants. These achievements have motivated me to continue to promote my strengths,” Tran Thien Hung began the story.

In 2020, realizing that consulting on planning and land use planning requires the synthesis of big data and science, he self-studied and researched, implemented the topic and initiative "Application of software to support planning and land use planning programmed in C# language". This software was later recognized by the Science and Innovation Council of Quang Binh province (old).

Currently, as Head of the Land Valuation Department, Center for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering (Department of Agriculture and Environment), he is still constantly studying and participating in many important tasks of the unit. Thanks to his positive contributions, he was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in work from 2019-2023; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province (old) awarded a certificate of merit in 2018 and 2024; won the award "Outstanding young face of Quang Binh in 2024"; the title of advanced youth nationwide for the 8th time, in 2025...

Aspiration for scientific research

Cardiologist Tran Thanh Toan (born in 1993), Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi is known as a shining example of dedication to the profession and tireless scientific research spirit. “After graduating from the general practitioner major at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, I continued to take advanced training courses in cardiovascular emergency, electrocardiography, echocardiography and cardiovascular intervention... at major cardiovascular centers. Along with that, I also completed a master's program in Internal Medicine, to have a solid foundation when pursuing the specialized field of cardiology,” said Toan.

One of his greatest joys is participating in cardiovascular intervention teams, successfully performing coronary stent placements and difficult echocardiograms, contributing to saving the lives of many patients with severe cardiovascular disease.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Toan also devotes much effort to scientific research. In 2023, he participated in reporting at the expanded Ancient Capital Cardiology Conference; the 5th National Hypertension Conference. From 2024 to present, he has had 2 research topics published in prestigious foreign cardiovascular journals; 1 topic published in the Hue Central Hospital Clinical Medicine Journal, 2 topics as the head of the project have been approved by the hospital's scientific council; reporting at the 19th National Cardiology Congress, the 14th Central - Central Highlands Cardiology Conference, etc.

With his continuous efforts, Dr. Toan was awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Health in the work of preventing and fighting Covid-19; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province (old) awarded a certificate of merit for his outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement; and won the award "Outstanding young face of Quang Binh in 2024".

Female student passionate about literature

Truong Nguyen Bao Ngan (born 2007), grade 12 Literature major, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, is one of the typical students of Quang Tri province, not only because of her excellent academic achievements but also because of her enthusiasm in social activities.

In the transfer exam, Ngan was the runner-up of the Literature class at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted. Since grade 10, she has been constantly studying and improving her knowledge of literature and has achieved remarkable results. In the 2023-2024 school year, she won second prize in the Quang Tri Province Excellent Student Contest and third prize in the National Excellent Student Contest in Literature; achieved the title of "3 Good Students" at the central level; received a certificate of merit from the Provincial Youth Union. In the 2024-2025 school year, she won first prize in the Quang Tri Province Excellent Student Contest in Literature.

Being an active girl, since grade 10, Ngan has participated in the "Empower Women Asia" Project (under the non-governmental organization KIBV) and the school's Journalism and Communication Club (CLB) with many volunteer programs aimed at the community. On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, as the club's president, Ngan and the members organized the program "Spring Contribution to the Sun" at Phuoc Tuyen Shelter (formerly Cam Lo district). "To organize the program, 1 month before, the club focused on fundraising and raised more than 10 million VND. We supported the shelter with 5 million VND in cash, the remaining amount was used to buy candy and lucky money for the children. After this activity, I understood more about life," Ngan said.

“Tran Thien Hung, Tran Thanh Toan and Truong Nguyen Bao Ngan are three stories, three different colors, but they all have something in common, which is the spirit of continuous learning and the desire to bring practical values to the community. The work of these people contributes to spreading the spirit of learning, training, and building the homeland.”

Sister Thu Huong, in charge of the Phuoc Tuyen Shelter, said that the shelter is a place to raise 33 Van Kieu children from 4 to 14 years old. Most of them are in difficult circumstances. Thanks to the members of the club, the children have the opportunity to experience many interesting games, eat candy, receive gifts and chat. These things help the children have more joy, learn many new things, and give them more motivation to overcome difficulties and excel in life and study.

Bao Ngan added: “Currently, I have passed the direct admission exam to 3 prestigious universities and decided to choose Marketing at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Before enrolling, I did my own research and took additional digital marketing courses to prepare myself best for the future.”
