

Attending the event were General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; former Member of the Political Bureau and former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan; former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Military Region 7, and Division 5; leaders and former leaders of the Women's Union of Tay Ninh Province, Dong Nai City, and Ho Chi Minh City from various periods; and former officials of the Women's Liberation Association of the Southeast Region.

Representing Tay Ninh province were Central Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet; Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han; and Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Thanh Hai.
Speaking at the gathering, Central Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet affirmed that the contributions of generations of cadres and staff of the Women's Liberation Association of the Southeast Region have contributed to the glorious tradition of women in the East, embodying the spirit of "hardship and heroism." During those arduous but incredibly heroic years of war, the image of the women of the Southeast region's liberation movement always shone brightly with their unwavering loyalty, indomitable spirit, deep patriotism, and noble self-sacrifice.

After the reunification of the country, mothers, aunts, and sisters continued to uphold the noble qualities of Vietnamese women, actively working, participating in labor and production, and making significant contributions to the building and development of their homeland. These persistent, silent, yet meaningful contributions further affirm and enhance the eight golden words bestowed by President Ho Chi Minh : "Vietnamese women are heroic, indomitable, loyal, and capable."

At the program, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of women in the Eastern region through a documentary about the Women's Liberation Association of the Southeastern Region.
On this occasion, leaders of the Party, State, Military Region 7, and Tay Ninh province presented flowers and gifts to express gratitude to former officials and staff of the Women's Liberation Association of the Southeast Region and former Chairpersons of the Women's Union of provinces and cities in the Southeast region throughout various periods.

Within the framework of the program, the Tay Ninh Provincial Women's Union held a ceremony to hand over the hosting of the 27th Traditional Reunion in 2027 to the Dong Nai City Women's Union.
Earlier, delegates offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House; visited the memorial monument to the heroic martyrs of the 5th Division (Military Region 7) and the monument at the Division.


In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and expressed their profound gratitude for the heroic sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
