Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that this enterprise is applying many incentive programs and ticket price reductions depending on customer groups.
Specifically, passengers traveling on their birthday will receive a 5% discount on their ticket price. Passengers need to provide their date of birth on their ID.

Passengers who are union members (with union membership card) will receive a 5% discount on ticket prices when buying individual tickets. Group tickets of 10 or more people will receive a 7% to 10% discount on ticket prices.
Passengers with a customer card will receive a discount on tickets according to card type: Customer cards will receive a 5% discount, silver cards will receive a 10% discount and gold cards will receive a 15% discount.
To make a customer card, when buying tickets at ticket sales points, passengers will be advised to make a customer card. Passengers need to provide personal information and mobile phone number to make a card and will accumulate points, every 10,000 VND is counted as 1 point. When passengers accumulate 700 points, they will get a silver card; 1,500 points will get a gold card.
At the same time, the railway applies regular discounts for social policy beneficiaries such as: 90% discount on ticket prices for Vietnamese heroic mothers; 30% discount on ticket prices for war invalids, people infected with toxic chemicals, people with severe and extremely severe disabilities; 15% discount for Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over; free tickets for children under 6 years old, 25% discount on ticket prices for children from 6 to 10 years old; 10% discount on ticket prices for students.
In addition, from now until April 24 and from May 2 to May 16, 2024, many programs will be applied with discounts of up to 30% on ticket prices.
Accordingly, for Thong Nhat passenger trains SE3/4, SE7/8 (Saigon - Hanoi ) when buying tickets with a travel distance of over 900km, train SE21/22 (Saigon - Da Nang) tickets with a travel distance of over 600km and train SNT1/2 (Saigon - Nha Trang) tickets with a travel distance of over 300km, passengers who buy individual tickets 5 days or more before departure will receive a discount of 5% to 30% of the ticket price (except for the 4-berth sleeper cabin of trains SE3, SNT1/2).
For train SPT1/2 (Saigon - Phan Thiet), passengers who buy tickets for the Saigon - Phan Thiet route and buy them 10 days or more before departure will receive a 10% discount on the ticket price (except for 4-berth sleeper cabin).
Passengers purchasing group tickets with a number of 5 or more passengers will receive a discount of 2% to 14% on the ticket price. Passengers purchasing round-trip tickets will also receive a 10% discount on the return ticket price.
