Opening of the training course for leaders and managers at the department level for officials of Salavan and Savannakhet provinces (Laos)

On the morning of July 15, Le Duan Political School held the opening ceremony of the 2nd training course for leaders and managers at the department level, course 2, 2025 for officials of Salavan and Savannakhet provinces, Lao People's Democratic Republic. Attending and speaking at the opening ceremony was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang.

The training course took place from July 14 to 28, 2025, for 40 cadres from Salavan and Savannakhet provinces. At the training course, Lao cadres will be equipped with basic knowledge of leadership and management according to the program issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, including 10 topics. The programs are adjusted and selected to suit the trainees of Lao People's Revolutionary Party cadres. The second training course on leadership and management skills of Quang Tri province for cadres of the two Lao provinces is a continuation and promotion of the achievements in politics, economy, culture, society and solidarity between Quang Tri province and the two provinces of Salavan and Savannakhet in particular, and the two Parties and States of Vietnam and Laos in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang acknowledged and praised the results achieved in the coordination of cadre training between Le Duan Political School and Lao provinces. In order for the course to achieve high results, he suggested paying special attention to important contents, such as: Major changes in Vietnam in general, Quang Tri in particular in the revolution of reforming the apparatus of the political system. In particular, it is necessary to clarify the process of focusing on building and streamlining the organizational apparatus of the Party, National Assembly, Government, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the implementation of the 2-level local government model for effective and efficient operation.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang also hopes that during the teaching process, the teaching staff will make adjustments in the knowledge provided, and discuss more deeply about guidelines, policies, institutions, etc. so that the trainees can absorb and apply the knowledge learned in the working process. At the same time, he believes that the success of this course will be a premise for Quang Tri to continue implementing many high-quality and effective international training cooperation programs with the provinces of Laos.
