Last night (August 13), at the Square on Pham Van Dong Street, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province coordinated with Dorii Fashion Company Limited to organize the opening ceremony of the Ao Dai Festival and the Final of the 2024 Vietnamese Ao Dai Ambassador.
More than 100 professional and non-professional models participated in the Ao Dai show in the collection Dau ty vat vang son and Ngau hung lua by designer Ta Linh Nhan, General Director of Dorii Fashion Company Limited; the collection of ancient Ao Dai by designer Fatraly; Ao Dai uniforms of the Provincial Women's Union, Vietcombank , Quang Ngai Yoga Federation and Buddhist Ao Dai.

The Ao Dai Festival not only arouses love for the Ao Dai but also brings honor and pride to the beauty of the nation. It is an opportunity for the younger generation to see more clearly the responsibility to preserve, conserve and promote the cultural heritage values of the nation. The 2024 Vietnamese Ao Dai Ambassador Contest is an activity within the Ao Dai Festival, launched on January 18, 2024. After more than 7 months, the contest has received the attention of more than 100 contestants from 4 to 15 years old nationwide who registered to participate. The Organizing Committee has selected the 26 best contestants to compete in the final night. Contestants go through competitions including: traditional Ao Dai, modernized Ao Dai and talent competition.
Contestant Huynh Tieu My won the title of Ambassador of Vietnamese Ao Dai 2024
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the 2024 Vietnamese Ao Dai Ambassador Champion to contestant Huynh Tieu My, 12 years old from Ho Chi Minh City. The first runner-up was awarded to contestants Phan Gia Tue and Le Phuong Ngan. The second runner-up was awarded to contestants Nguyen Tran Thuy Anh and Huynh Nguyen Hong Phuc. The Organizing Committee also awarded the competition's subsidiary prizes, including: Dorii Little Ao Dai Ambassador, Ambassador of Impressive Traditional and Modern Ao Dai Performance, Talent Ambassador, and Media Ambassador to outstanding contestants.
