With the theme of the 2026 Children's Action Month being "Happy, Safe, and Steadfast Children in the Digital Age," the event not only creates a safe and healthy space for play and experiences to celebrate International Children's Day on June 1st, but also serves as a bridge connecting management agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and the entire society in the work of protecting and caring for children.
No child should be left behind.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc, Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , and Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, emphasized that the most meaningful and practical support for children with disabilities should not be limited to charitable activities, gift-giving, or temporary care. The fundamental and long-term goal is for the community to accompany and help these children access career guidance and vocational training, thereby giving them job opportunities, enabling them to live independently, support themselves, and integrate equally into society.

"Given the right conditions, many children with disabilities can absolutely study, work, and make positive contributions to the community. What they need is not pity, but opportunity, confidence, and lasting support from society," Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc affirmed.
Comprehensive care and protection for children.
Dr. Tran Doan Tien, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Child Health and Head of the Organizing Committee, stated that a society is only truly civilized when all children have the opportunity to be loved, educated, and developed. The event is a strong affirmation from the entire society in caring for the younger generation, ensuring that no child is left behind.

To realize the philosophy of enduring support, the event has created a comprehensive care 'ecosystem,' addressing even the least-noticed aspects of disadvantaged children.
The event brought together a series of practical support activities aimed at providing comprehensive care for both physical and mental well-being. Highlights included a program of free, in-depth health check-ups and consultations (nutrition, eyes, ears, nose and throat, dentistry, and mental health). At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 2,000 free eye examinations along with many meaningful gifts to the children.

Besides the free stalls, cultural and artistic exchange area, and exhibition space showcasing products made by disabled children, the festival also featured topical themes related to the digital age. A prime example was a training session on protecting children online, jointly organized by the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (A05 - Ministry of Public Security ), aimed at enhancing digital knowledge and ensuring internet safety for both parents and children.

The event attracted active participation from numerous parents and students from many provinces, cities, and specialized educational institutions such as Xa Dan Primary School, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School, and centers affiliated with the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children. Immediately following this event, the Children's Health Magazine will officially launch its second "Nurturing Compassion" program, leading up to an event honoring generous hearts for children, which will be broadcast live during the Lunar New Year of 2027.
