To commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day, on the morning of May 1st, at the Dat Mui Commune Public Service Center, the Tam Phuc Humanitarian Medical Team (An Giang province) collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dat Mui commune to organize a program of free medical examinations, medication distribution, and gift giving for local people.

During the program, doctors and medical staff conducted health check-ups and consultations for the local people. They had their blood pressure and blood sugar measured, underwent osteoporosis screenings, electrocardiograms, ultrasounds, physical therapy, and received treatment for several common illnesses. After the examinations, people received free medication and guidance on treatment methods, as well as advice on disease prevention to raise awareness of health care.

Mr. Cao Van Phu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dat Mui commune , said that the program has practical significance, contributing to caring for the health of the people, especially vulnerable groups, and expressed his hope that in the future, it will continue to receive the support of organizations and individuals in social welfare activities in the locality.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Vui, Head of the Tam Phuc humanitarian medical examination and treatment team, the team has regularly organized charitable medical examination activities in remote areas to bring medical services closer to people in difficult circumstances.
The delegation distributed 130 gift packages containing rice, noodles, and essential goods to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, with a total cost of over 240 million VND.
This is an activity with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual support and helping coastal residents overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
