Below are some suggested travel destinations for June with beautiful natural landscapes and many attractive experiences with locals that tourists can refer to.
Quan Lan, Quang Ninh
Quan Lan Island in Quang Ninh province, located in Bai Tu Long Bay, is an ideal destination, attracting tourists with its beautiful, pristine scenery, crystal-clear waters, and long stretches of white sand. Quan Lan is at its most beautiful in the summer, especially from April to the end of June, when the sky is clear, the temperature is not too hot, and there are no storms. Because it is located in the bay, the sea journey to the island is usually smooth, the travel time is quick, and tourists can worry less about seasickness.
Quan Lan Island boasts many beautiful beaches such as Minh Chau Beach, Robinson Beach, Turtle Beach, Tien Beach, and Quan Lan Beach… Minh Chau Beach has the finest white sand, so it's always crowded with visitors. Robinson Beach, located between Son Hao and Minh Chau beaches, has a pristine coastline and a resort nestled amidst lush green pine forests. Quan Lan also offers a variety of fresh seafood, including some with unusual names that pique visitors' curiosity, such as sea worms, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins.

Ngoc Vung Island, Quang Ninh
If you want to experience a tranquil life on a northern island in June, Ngoc Vung is the perfect destination. Ngoc Vung Island, located in the Van Don Special Economic Zone (Quang Ninh province), covers approximately 45 square kilometers and comprises eight land islands surrounded by hundreds of large and small rocky islets. According to the Quang Ninh Provincial Electronic Information Portal, in the past, the sea here was teeming with pearl oysters. At night, the light emitted from the pearls illuminated the entire sea, hence the name Ngoc Vung (meaning "Pearl Island").
The island's population is sparse, with lives tied to fishing, aquaculture, and agriculture . In recent years, the islanders have also developed tourism services.
A must-see for visitors to Ngoc Vung is Truong Chinh beach, with its pristine white sand stretching nearly 3km and almost 200m wide, curving like a crescent moon. The island boasts a variety of fresh and delicious seafood such as sea cucumbers, squid, and clams. However, accommodation and dining options are still quite limited. Visitors planning a weekend trip should book in advance.
Go Co Village, Quang Ngai
Go Co Village is an attractive stop within the Sa Huynh National Special Cultural Heritage Site (Quang Ngai), suitable for tourists who want to explore the simple yet warm life of a coastal village. The village is known as a "village of many lacks," such as the absence of bustling shops and restaurants, and many households do not use air conditioning or televisions.
Previously, the locals mainly earned their living through fishing, gardening, and handicrafts. Now, they are working together in tourism, opening homestays, and becoming "budget-friendly tour guides," telling stories about their village and passing on their traditional crafts to tourists.
The homestays in the village are established based on criteria agreed upon by the villagers. Accordingly, the head of the household must be a local resident with at least three generations living in the village to be allowed to participate in the accommodation business.
Visitors are treated like family, sharing meals, accommodation, and activities with the locals. In the village, visitors can enjoy signature dishes such as dragon's tongue (a type of cactus) cooked in fish and shrimp soup or salad; and delicious seafood dishes like sea urchin patties, squid, oyster soup, and fish skin salad.

Lo Lo Chai and Then Pa villages, Tuyen Quang
Even in the sweltering heat of mid-June in Northern Vietnam, many areas in Tuyen Quang (formerly Ha Giang) still enjoy a cool and refreshing climate. Tourists can stay and experience the local culture in two villages located at the foot of the Lung Cu flagpole: Lo Lo Chai and Then Pa.
The entire Lo Lo Chai village has over 120 households, mainly Lo Lo people, with about half of them offering homestay services. The houses in Lo Lo Chai are all traditional rammed earth houses, ranging in age from a few decades to over 200 years.
In Lo Lo Chai, visitors can immerse themselves in a peaceful atmosphere and blend into the rhythm of life of the Lo Lo ethnic people. They can participate in activities such as linen weaving, corn cultivation, traditional wine making, and enjoy local specialties like thang co (a traditional stew), smoked buffalo meat, bamboo rice, and corn wine.
Located just a few hundred meters apart, the two villages share similar architecture with rammed earth houses, yin-yang tiled roofs, and stone fences, but Then Pa has a more tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It is the long-standing home of 12 families, all members of the Vang clan. This close-knit family structure has helped Then Pa preserve its original way of life.
Here, visitors can participate in many experiences such as beeswax painting on linen, indigo dyeing, making corn cakes and men men (a type of Vietnamese dish), horseback riding, and sightseeing...
