According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in implementing the Provincial People's Committee's plan, localities with large lychee growing areas in the province have so far selected 117 "beautiful lychee orchards," totaling 114.4 hectares, with an estimated yield of 934.6 tons. Currently, wards and communes are continuing to review and select more "beautiful lychee orchards" to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition.
Among these "beautiful lychee orchards," Luc Ngan commune – formerly the lychee capital of Luc Ngan district – alone has 11 orchards, totaling 10.3 hectares, with an estimated yield of 97.5 tons, concentrated in the villages of Chay, Muoi, Ao Nhan, and Thac Do. Lychees from these orchards are mainly exported to China, the United States, and Japan.

It is known that a "beautiful lychee orchard" must meet several criteria: a minimum area of 0.7 hectares, trees at least 5 years old, planted in a concentrated manner with straight rows, convenient for care, harvesting, transportation, and tourism .

Lychee orchards must be cultivated using production processes that meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, or organic standards. During production, orchards must ensure food safety and hygiene, and occupational safety; absolutely no prohibited pesticides should be used; herbicides must not be used; and pesticide use must adhere to the "four correct principles" and only include pesticides on the list of permitted pesticides.

Lychee orchards must ensure traceability; records must be created and maintained; production logs must be kept including: care, fertilization, irrigation, pest and disease control, harvesting... the use of electronic production logs is encouraged.
The lychee fruits are large, uniform in size, aesthetically pleasing, and have a color characteristic of the variety; they possess a distinctive flavor, stable quality, and guaranteed food safety. Yields reach 7 tons/ha or more.

In particular, lychee orchards must be regularly cared for and kept clean; there should be no plastic bags, pesticide and fertilizer packaging, or household waste in the orchard; and no livestock or poultry should be grazed in the orchard.
There is an irrigation system in place to ensure adequate water supply for production, and the application of smart irrigation systems is encouraged. Fertilizer and pesticide packaging should be collected and disposed of properly according to regulations.

Lychee orchards that meet the requirements for tourists to experience the lychee season: Priority is given to and encouragement is given to orchards that create harmonious landscapes, arrange pathways, rest stops, regulations signs, directional signs, check-in areas, product display areas, temporary restrooms, and parking lots; organize training in welcoming guests, guiding experiences, and coordinate with tourism businesses to organize activities such as tours, lychee picking, and learning about the production process.

In addition, the lychee orchards in the region have been assigned planting area codes, making them eligible for export. There are links with businesses, cooperatives, and production groups in the consumption of the product.
Through the "beautiful lychee orchard" voting process, the aim is to create a competitive movement in lychee production for domestic consumption and export, bringing high economic value not only from the lychee fruit but also from related activities along the value chain.
