Urgently clear land to expand Nhon Hoa Industrial Park

(GLO)- An Nhon Nam Ward (Gia Lai Province) is speeding up the progress of site clearance and reclaiming 50.28 hectares of land to hand over to Nhon Hoa Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Company Limited to build infrastructure and expand Nhon Hoa Industrial Park.

Nhon Hoa Industrial Park (IP) is located in a convenient location in terms of transportation, and has a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure. In addition to attractive investment support policies, many enterprises have chosen this IP to invest in project expansion and new projects.

Faced with that reality, in February 2025, the Provincial People's Committee directed An Nhon Town (old) to continue the second phase of site clearance, phase 2 of Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, adding 50.28 hectares of land, handing over to Nhon Hoa Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Company Limited to build technical infrastructure to attract investment. In early July 2025, when implementing the 2-level local government model, An Nhon Nam ward continued to undertake this task.

According to the People's Committee of An Nhon Nam Ward, the entire 50.28 hectares of land must be cleared (36.21 hectares of agricultural and forestry land and more than 14 hectares of residential land) in Dong Binh village, located in the south of Nhon Hoa Industrial Park. 247 households have land recovered, of which 135 households have houses that must be compensated and cleared.

Currently, the authorities are coordinating with the people to verify the origin of the land and conduct measurements and counting of land area, trees, crops and architectural works on the land.

Mr. Phan Truong Luu - Deputy Director in charge of An Nhon Nam Ward Management Board - said: By September 12, we had completed the inventory of 36 hectares of agricultural land and submitted to the Commune People's Committee for approval the first compensation plan on an area of ​​17.8 hectares of agricultural land for 36 households, as a basis for requesting the Industrial Park investor to pay compensation to the people; at the same time, we are drafting a second compensation plan for the remaining agricultural land area.

Along with that, the unit speeds up the inventory of houses and architectural works on residential land; develops compensation, support and resettlement plans for eligible cases according to regulations.

As a household subject to compensation and land acquisition for the expansion of Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan said: My family owns more than 2,000 m2 of land, of which the land area with houses and architectural works is about 200 m2 . In recent days, the family has actively coordinated with the ward's functional departments to measure and inventory land and architectural works on the land.

"We hope that the locality will quickly complete this task and at the same time apply appropriate compensation to the people. In case of complete clearance, it is necessary to arrange resettlement land in areas with full essential infrastructure, near residential areas and near the main road of the ward. The legitimate aspirations of the people have been listened to by the local government and included in the action plan" - Ms. Xuan proposed.

Mr. Le Hoai An - Chairman of the People's Committee of An Nhon Nam Ward - said: Along with mobilizing human resources to speed up the progress of verifying the origin of the land, measuring and inventorying the entire area of ​​land and crops, and architectural works on the land within the scope of land clearance, the ward will consider and approve the compensation plan for the people in accordance with regulations. The locality has also prepared a resettlement area with full essential infrastructure to arrange residential land for households subject to complete clearance.

This resettlement area is more than 100 meters from National Highway 19, convenient for traveling, trading, and ensuring that the new place of residence is equal to or better than the old place. All issues related to compensation, site clearance, and resettlement are made public so that people can coordinate and monitor. Ward leaders also regularly follow the grassroots to receive and promptly resolve the legitimate requests of the people.

The coordination between the government and the Nhon Hoa Industrial Park infrastructure investor also took place smoothly. Mr. Tran Thanh Dung - Director of Nhon Hoa Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Company Limited - said: The company has hired a consulting unit to set up markers and measure and draw cadastral maps of the entire area that needs land acquisition and transfer to the locality, as a basis for land measurement and inventory.

At the same time, prepare enough capital to pay compensation to affected households and prepare a plan to construct infrastructure for phase 2, phase 2 of the industrial park as soon as the site is available.
