The Prime Minister assigned Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan to chair a working session with Bac Ninh province. |
Specifically, the Prime Minister assigned the tasks of Government members to preside over working with localities to handle, resolve according to their authority or propose competent authorities to handle, remove difficulties and obstacles, promote production and business, create jobs and livelihoods for people, disburse public investment capital, import and export, build infrastructure, social housing, national target programs and implement two-level local government to achieve and exceed the economic growth target of more than 8% in 2025 and double digits in the following years.
The Prime Minister assigned members of the Government to preside over working with localities as follows: The Prime Minister presided over working with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho City; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presided over working with Hai Phong and Quang Ninh cities; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presided over working with Nghe An and Ha Tinh; Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long presided over working with An Giang; Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc presided over working with Gia Lai and Dak Lak; Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son presided over working with Phu Tho and Son La; Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung presided over working with Quang Tri; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presided over working with Dong Thap and Tay Ninh.
Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang chaired the working session with Thai Nguyen; Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang chaired the working session with Da Nang city and Hung Yen; Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung chaired the working session with Hue city; Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son chaired the working session with Dong Nai and Ninh Binh; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong chaired the working session with Vinh Long; Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang chaired the working session with Dien Bien; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien chaired the working session with Lang Son; Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh chaired the working session with Cao Bang; Acting Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang chaired the working session with Lai Chau; Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung chaired the working session with Quang Ngai; Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dao Ngoc Dung chaired the working session with Thanh Hoa; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the working session with Lam Dong; Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son chaired a working session with Ca Mau; Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan chaired a working session with Bac Ninh; Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra chaired a working session with Lao Cai; Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong chaired a working session with Tuyen Quang; Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh chaired a working session with Khanh Hoa.
The duties of Government members include: Proactively developing plans, organizing working delegations to work with localities periodically every quarter (or when necessary) in an appropriate form, reporting to the Prime Minister on the content and results of the work, clearly analyzing the causes of difficulties and problems and proposing solutions to promote production and business, import and export, infrastructure construction, social housing, disbursement of public investment capital, national target programs and the implementation of two-level local government.
Government members directly direct the handling of difficulties and problems in the assigned localities according to their authority and legal regulations, and at the same time synthesize problems beyond their authority to report to competent authorities, ensuring the "6 clear" principle: clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority.
At the same time, evaluate the implementation of solutions to promote economic growth of more than 8% in 2025 and double digits in the coming years under the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister; review responsibilities in leadership, direction, urging, inspection, review, and handling of difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks in production and business, import and export, infrastructure construction, social housing, disbursement of public investment capital, national target programs, and implementation of two-level local government, including the responsibilities of the head and implementation of other tasks that members of the Government have the authority to do and under the direction of the Prime Minister.
Government members have the right to request localities to report, provide information and data, and assign staff to coordinate in performing the tasks of the working group.
