Surveying the site for organizing a grand music festival and hot air balloons on holidays

On April 23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presided over a site survey to plan to host the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Music Festival “V-FEST ALLSTAR” at Lam Son Stadium (Vung Tau City) and the hot air balloon-music performance “V-FEST EVOLUTION” at Ho Tram Sea Square (Xuyen Moc District). These are two main events to serve tourists and local people during the April 30 holiday.

During the survey, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism worked with local representatives to agree on the plan, location for stage installation, and location for the series of accompanying activities. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the locality to direct specialized departments and divisions to coordinate in handing over the site so that the unit can organize the construction of items according to the design, traffic flow, announce the location of the parking lot on the media, ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, arrange additional mobile toilets, have a plan to introduce and sell typical local products... to serve the sightseeing and shopping needs of tourists and people.

The Ba Ria-Vung Tau tourism music festival “V-FEST ALLSTAR” will take place on the evening of May 1, and is expected to welcome 20,000 live viewers. On May 2 and 3, there will be a hot air balloon show during the day and sideline activities including a beer space, checking in with hot air balloons; in the evening there will be an EDM music performance. The series of events at Ho Tram Sea Square is expected to attract 30,000 attendees.
