Throughout history, the revolutionary historical site of Vi Si School has been restored on the site of its former location, becoming a significant educational landmark for the younger generation. Not only does it preserve many valuable artifacts and documents about the local military and people during various periods of resistance, but it is also a meaningful destination during major national holidays. From a young age, Mr. Pham Van Cu in Vi Giang village heard stories about Vi Si School, the cradle of training key cadres for the revolution. During the resistance against French colonialism, especially the 1951 offensive, the school and many other historical sites were severely damaged by bombs and bullets. However, with unwavering determination, the people evacuated, protected the relics, and gradually rebuilt the site after the war. It was from these difficult years that the patriotic tradition, solidarity, and resilience of the people of Hong Minh today were forged.

Following the administrative reorganization, the commune quickly streamlined its organizational structure and brought operations into order. With the motto "Taking people's satisfaction as the measure of work efficiency," the Commune's Public Administrative Service Center has gradually improved service quality, promoted administrative reform, and digital transformation. In the first quarter of 2026, the Center received and processed over 2,000 applications, with a success rate of over 99.7% in resolving them on time or ahead of schedule. Procedures are handled quickly and transparently, saving people time and effort when conducting administrative transactions. Alongside this, Hong Minh commune has identified economic development as a key priority. A highlight is the Greenlife Agricultural Service and Environmental Cooperative model. Established in 2023, the cooperative has a total production area of over 10 hectares, primarily cultivating baby cucumbers on nearly 5 hectares. Currently, cucumbers are in harvest season, with the cooperative collecting 3 to 5 tons of fresh fruit daily for export to markets in the US, Japan, and South Korea. In addition, the cooperative utilizes nearly 7 acres of water surface area to raise snails and frogs for commercial purposes. This model not only provides stable economic benefits but also creates regular employment for dozens of local workers with decent incomes. The cooperative is gradually improving product quality, expanding its market, and establishing the brand of green agricultural products of Hong Minh.

Upholding its revolutionary traditions, Hong Minh commune has always prioritized the work of showing gratitude and appreciation to those who sacrificed for the country. Currently, the locality has 735 martyrs, 80 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who have been awarded and posthumously honored by the State, 3 comrades who have been awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, along with hundreds of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and those affected by chemical toxins who are receiving government benefits. The commune regularly organizes activities such as candlelight vigils, maintaining martyrs' cemeteries, visiting families of policy beneficiaries, and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. Through these efforts, it contributes to educating about revolutionary traditions, fostering national pride, and instilling a sense of responsibility in young people towards their homeland.
For the 2025-2030 term, the commune aims for an average economic growth rate of 11%; an average per capita income of 120 million VND/year; and a poverty rate reduced to below 2%. In the coming period, the commune will focus on promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, and improving the quality of its staff. Simultaneously, the locality will prioritize attracting investment in high-tech agriculture; effectively mobilizing resources to invest in infrastructure, improve the quality of education and healthcare, care for the people's lives, and maintain political security and social order.

Building upon its glorious revolutionary traditions, Hong Minh commune is fostering a spirit of unity, innovating leadership thinking, and fostering consensus among Party committees, authorities, and the people to effectively exploit its potential for sustainable development, becoming a shining example in the journey of building a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.
