Hot air balloons celebrate National Day 2.9 brilliantly on Saigon River

Hot air balloon flights on the Saigon River attract locals and tourists during the September 2nd holiday in Ho Chi Minh City.

On September 2, Ho Chi Minh City released 20 hot air balloons to celebrate National Day. A large number of people and tourists gathered on Nguyen Thien Thanh Street (behind An Khanh Temple), Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City. The difference of this year's hot air balloon program is that it does not hoist the national flag, but instead uses a hot air balloon printed with the national flag, 18m high and 14m in diameter.

The hot air balloon release program will take place from 6am to 9am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm on September 2 and 3. Each day from 7pm to 9pm there will be a hot air balloon lantern night. The hot air balloon release program is one of the highlights in the series of events celebrating National Day September 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, expected to attract 20,000 participants.
