The first World Balloon Championship in Paraguay

The championship began in the early morning of August 28, when the weather conditions were favorable and there was a lot of wind. The event attracted 30 pilots from about 20 countries, including experienced ones.

From August 28-31, the sky over the city of Yguazu, southwest Paraguay, was decorated with many colorful hot air balloons, when this South American country hosted the first-ever world hot air balloon championship with the participation of pilots from dozens of countries.
