Lam Dong organizes Hot Air Balloon and Arts Festival on unprecedented scale

(Dan Tri) - From October 24 to 26, the Lam Dong Hot Air Balloon and Arts Festival 2025 will take place at Lam Vien Square and Da Lat Opera House.

Lam Dong Hot Air Balloon and Arts Festival 2025 is considered the largest cultural and tourism event ever in the locality. This is the first time combining hot air balloon performances, music and modern technology according to international standards in Lam Dong.

The highlight of the festival is the performance of 20 colorful hot air balloons, including 3 large hot air balloons flying level 7, 12 hot air balloons flying level 1 and 5 hot air balloons decorating the ground.

Hot air balloons will simultaneously light up the dawn and dusk sky at Lam Vien Square, creating a spectacular scene, promising to become a special check-in spot for visitors.

Accompanying the hot air balloon is the art program "The Sunrise Legacy" taking place at the Dalat Opera House. The music night brings together many famous artists such as Duc Tri, Le Quyen, Ta Minh Tam, Vo Ha Tram, Phuong Vy...

The performances range from symphonies, revolutionary songs to pop music, telling stories about Lam Dong's heritage and future aspirations.

According to the organizers, the festival is not only an entertainment event but also has the mission of promoting the image and affirming the cultural and tourism brand of Lam Dong. With the slogan "Heritage of Dawn", the event conveys the message of a dynamic and creative Lam Dong while still preserving its inherent heritage and natural values.

During the event, many sideline activities such as outdoor art exhibitions, street performances, check-in spaces and hot air balloons were also held, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors.

The organizers said preparations were being carried out in a coordinated manner, from flight safety, security and order to traffic flow. The event is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors, contributing to stimulating tourism, increasing length of stay and spending in Da Lat.

This is also the first step for Lam Dong to move towards the goal of becoming a "Festival City" in the future.
