Construction of Duc Viet General Hospital commenced at the western gateway of Hanoi

On August 22, Duc Viet Medical Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony of Duc Viet General Hospital in Xuan Mai commune, Hanoi city.

This is a modern, large-scale medical facility, expected to become a bright spot in the high-quality health care system of the capital and neighboring areas.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Duong Duc Tuan - Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee emphasized that the project was started on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The Duc Viet General Hospital Project was approved for investment by the Hanoi People's Committee for the first time on January 23, 2009 and adjusted for the fifth time in Decision No. 1021/QD-UBND dated February 25, 2025. Up to now, the Investor has completed the steps, processes and procedures to start construction.

The hospital has a land use scale of more than 30,000m2, construction area of 10,980m2, 09 floors with 350 beds, total investment of nearly 1,400 billion VND, divided into 2 phases, phase 1 invests in building 200 beds, phase 2 invests in building another 150 beds.

“The hospital meets the standards of a provincial general hospital, is equipped with modern machinery, and applies many new techniques in diagnosis and treatment to meet the diverse and high-quality medical examination and treatment needs of the people in the area, not only Xuan Mai commune but also neighboring communes and provinces. The expected completion and operation time is around the fourth quarter of 2027,” said the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
