The program aims to respond to the government's initiative to plant 1 billion trees "For a Green Vietnam"; to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the 70th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Dinh Giot (March 13, 1954 - March 13, 2024); and the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).
At the event, the organizers presented 70 gifts to the family members of hero Phan Đình Giót and other beneficiaries of social policies and meritorious individuals in Cẩm Xuyên district.
The organizing committee also presented 30 bicycles and gifts to underprivileged students with good academic achievements; and presented symbolic plaques representing 120,000 casuarina trees for wave protection, 300 bauhinia trees, and 1,000 plastic baskets for building a "model of a community market to minimize plastic waste" to the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, Cam Xuyen district, and Cam Quan commune.

The Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Vietnam Investment and Development Commercial Bank (BIDV), donated a school building to the child with a support amount of 700 million VND.
The Provincial Youth Union donated a solar power line worth 125 million VND and 160 environmentally friendly trash cans worth 160 million VND to district and city youth unions and affiliated youth unions; and provided preferential capital to support young people in starting and developing businesses worth 1 billion VND.
The total resources donated at the program exceeded 4 billion VND.

In particular, the organizing committee commenced the construction of a memorial to the Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Phan Đình Giót.
This project was initiated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , mobilizing social resources through the coordination of the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union.
This project has profound propaganda and educational significance for the younger generation and the people about the revolutionary traditions of our homeland; it is a practical way to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 70th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Dinh Giot.
