Construction begins on the Uong Bi Golf Course investment and construction project.

On the morning of June 16th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Uong Bi Golf Course construction project took place in Uong Bi City. Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Delegates performed the ceremony of pressing the button to officially launch the Uong Bi Golf Course project.

The Uong Bi Golf Course, with 36 holes and covering an area of ​​140 hectares, has a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND and is owned by Ha Long Bay Golf Course Investment Joint Stock Company. The project is being implemented in the Yen Trung Lake area, in Phuong Dong ward and soon in Yen Tu ward. The project consists of 3 phases; the first 18 holes are expected to be operational 18 months after the commencement date; the entire project will be completed within 46 months. This event not only marks a new step forward in the tourism and sports services sector of Uong Bi City in particular, but also contributes to the socio -economic development of Quang Ninh province in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The construction of the Uong Bi golf course will create a new tourism product, attracting domestic and international tourists. At the same time, it will create jobs for local people, contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality, and help achieve Quang Ninh province's double-digit economic growth target by 2025.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Quang Ninh province will always accompany, support, and create all favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project on schedule. He also requested the investor to comply with all legal regulations on investment, construction, land, and environment; apply advanced, environmentally friendly technologies in the construction and operation of the golf course; and proactively connect with other tourist destinations to develop attractive tourism products.

With its diverse topography and beautiful natural landscapes, Quang Ninh has many advantages for developing world-class golf courses, thereby contributing to attracting tourists, especially high-end travelers. These golf courses possess unique scenic advantages, creating novelty and unique experiences for visitors, making the journey of conquering golf courses in Quang Ninh more appealing. According to the Quang Ninh provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Quang Ninh province will develop 22 golf courses.

Upon completion, the Uong Bi Golf Course project will create a highlight in terms of architectural landscape, attracting tourists to visit and experience it, contributing to the socio-economic development, services, tourism, and sports of Quang Ninh province.
