Restoration of 120 boundary markers at Ta Phoi copper mine ahead of schedule.

In late May 2026, at the Ta Phoi copper mine project site in Hop Thanh commune, Lao Cai province, the restoration of the boundary markers for the land area leased by the Provincial People's Committee to Ta Phoi Copper Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin was carried out synchronously, with the coordination of local authorities, businesses, functional forces, and people in the bordering villages.

The completion of the restoration of the boundary marker system is of significant importance in clearly defining the scope of land management and use according to approved legal documents; at the same time, it contributes to strengthening the effectiveness of state management of land and mineral resources, creating conditions for businesses to stabilize production activities within the areas leased and licensed by the State according to regulations.

According to the plan, the restoration of the boundary markers was scheduled to take place from May 22nd to 29th, 2026, covering a total length of approximately 5.8 km and comprising 120 markers. However, thanks to the close and coordinated cooperation between local authorities, businesses, functional forces, and the consensus of the people, by 6 PM on May 23rd, 2026, all 120 boundary markers had been completed ahead of schedule, ensuring safety, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with legal regulations.

The propaganda and mobilization efforts were carried out openly and democratically; the people were provided with full information and consensus was fostered.
