At approximately 5:00 AM on February 27th, Vo Minh Tam went to the house of Le Hoang Phu (Tam's friend) to visit. Not finding Phu home, Tam decided to steal his belongings. Tam opened a cupboard and took a gold bracelet weighing approximately 1.1 taels (worth about 5.8 million VND), which he then hid at home. Upon discovering the theft, Phu reported it to the commune police. Using investigative techniques, the police identified Vo Minh Tam as the perpetrator of the theft.

During questioning at the police station, Vo Minh Tam admitted to his crime and handed over the stolen property to the police. The case is currently under further investigation.
