Man charged with murdering beauty queen Ho Yen Nhi, dismembering her body, and disposing of the remains in the Red River.

On the afternoon of October 16th, the Hanoi City Police held a press conference to announce the initial investigation results of the aforementioned incident.

Accordingly, the Hanoi City Police have issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute Ta Duy Khanh (38 years old, from Thai Binh province) for the crime of murder.

Earlier, at around 12:30 PM on October 13th, the 113 police hotline of the Hanoi City Police received a report from the public about the discovery of a dismembered body on the banks of the Red River in the section passing through Hamlet 2, Giang Cao, Bat Trang Commune, Gia Lam District.

Based on the investigation results, the police identified the victim as Ho Yen Nhi (17 years old, residing in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi).

At 11 PM on October 14th, the operational units of the City Police, in coordination with the Thai Binh Provincial Police, located and arrested suspect Ta Duy Khanh while he was hiding in Thai Binh.
