According to initial information, previously, at about 19:40 p.m. on January 17, the working group of the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police was on duty on Ha Huy Tap route (Ha Tinh City) when they discovered a motorbike 1N38- 3 was moving at a fast speed on Ha Huy Tap route in the North - South direction, so it gave a signal for the vehicle to slow down.
However, the vehicle driver did not obey the order, continued to drive at a fast speed, passed 2 traffic police on signal duty, and crashed into Major Ho Sy Tich - officer of the Police Traffic Police Department. Ha Tinh province is on duty on the Ha Huy Tap route.
As a result, Major Ho Sy Tich was seriously injured. The police force present at the scene quickly took Major Ho Sy Tich to the emergency room. Through initial diagnosis, Major Ho Sy Tich suffered a collapsed lung and serious injuries, and is currently being treated at Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital.
That same night, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong, Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police, and comrades in the Provincial Police Board of Directors promptly visited Major Ho Sy Tich. At the same time, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong directed the professional unit to investigate and clarify and handle the case according to the provisions of law.
The police quickly identified the young man who committed the key act as D.D.V.
At the police station, D.D.V. confessed that while driving a motorbike, he discovered that working group 238 was on duty on Ha Huy Tap route. Realizing that he was not old enough to drive a vehicle and did not have a driver's license (17 years old), due to fear of being handled by the traffic police, D.D.V. pass the traffic police checkpoint.
However, in the process of "clearing the deadlock", D.D.V. collided with Major Ho Sy Tich while on duty. Through inspection, D.D.V. negative for alcohol and drug levels.
