TP - At 5:00 p.m. today, the registration period for regular university admission in 2025 ends. Candidates need to review their registered wishes and carefully consider their favorite major as well as determine the school and training system that best suits them.

Dr. Le Anh Duc, Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University, said that based on the floor score, equivalent conversion table and information lookup platform, candidates who have registered their profiles on the school's admission system can look up admission scores of various methods to make the most appropriate choice.

Dr. Duc noted that candidates applying for admission under the combined admission method to the National Economics University will only be considered if they satisfy two conditions: they have submitted their application on the university's system from June 11 to July 11 and their application is eligible; they must register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training 's system.

Regarding admission to the National Economics University, Dr. Vu Van Ngoc, Director of the Institute of Advanced High-Quality Training and POHE, shared that this year, the school will enroll students with 4 training methods: standard program, advanced program, high-quality program and POHE (in previous years, candidates admitted to the school took an exam to choose the training system). Therefore, candidates need to pay attention when registering their wishes. Each training method has different tuition fees and benchmark scores. If you like a certain major, candidates should consider their own conditions (scores, finances) to choose when registering.

Mr. Ngoc gives an example, candidates who like Finance and Banking can register for the standard program code, or register for the TT2 advanced finance program code, or register for the CLC3 code for high-quality corporate finance or high-quality financial banking. According to Mr. Ngoc, when candidates like a certain industry, they should choose that industry with the most suitable training method first, then the remaining methods, the chance of being admitted will be higher.

The Admissions and Career Guidance Board of Hanoi University of Science and Technology also notes to candidates: Among the 65 majors/training programs of the University, there are some majors that require candidates to meet English requirements when registering their wishes. For programs taught entirely in English, the FL1 program (English for Science, Technology and Engineering), FL3 (Chinese for Science and Technology), in addition to the admission score requirements, candidates must meet one of the following conditions: have a VSTEP English certificate (a certificate issued by Vietnamese universities that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training) at level B1 or higher; have an IELTS certificate (academic) of 5.0 or higher or equivalent; have a high school graduation exam score in English in 2025 of 6.5 points or higher.

For international programs, candidates must meet one of two conditions: have a VSTEP English certificate at level B2 or higher; have an IELTS certificate (academic) of 5.5 or higher or equivalent. For the above programs, the Admissions Committee believes that if you do not meet the foreign language requirements but still register, your application will be considered invalid.

Fierce competition in C00 complex

Although only the floor score has been announced, through the conversion table of the schools, it can be seen that the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography) is taking the top spot in universities.

Hanoi Medical University determined that the benchmark score for group B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) is 5 points lower than group C00. Banking Academy uses 8 groups for admission, including 2 groups of group C (C00 and C03 (Math, Literature, History)). The benchmark score for group C will be 2.5 points higher than the remaining groups.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) stipulates that the maximum difference between C00 and D01 (Math, Literature, English) is 3.5 points, while most of the remaining majors have a difference between these two groups of 1.5 to 2.5 points.

Hanoi Law University determined that combination A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) is 1.39 points higher and C00 is 3.24 points higher than combination D01. Combination C00 is 3 points higher than other combinations of the Diplomatic Academy. Border Guard Academy determined the original combination to be C00. The deviation of admission scores of the combinations compared to combination C00 is as follows: Combination A01 decreased by 3.39 points compared to combination C00; combination C01, D01 decreased by 2.26 points and decreased by 1.13 points for combination C03.

It can be seen that the benchmark score for the C00 combination this year will be the highest among all combinations offered for admission to a university.

Candidates should not wait until the last minute to register or adjust their wishes.
