VHO - On the evening of May 28th, a mobile film screening program was held at the Vinh Binh Commune Hall in An Giang province. The program featured a documentary about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the feature film "Underground Tunnels - The Sun in the Darkness". The activity aimed to further spread Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style to the community through a visual and engaging format.

The program, organized by the Vinh Binh Commune General Service Center in coordination with the Mobile Film Screening Team of the An Giang Provincial Center for Culture and Arts, is part of a series of activities commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026).

In recent times, in order to continue implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016, of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style," the Party Committee of Vinh Binh commune has implemented many effective and practical models and approaches. A notable example is the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" project built at the Vinh Binh Commune People's Committee headquarters.

The "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" is designed in a modern, visually appealing way, condensing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh through vivid infographic-style images and information. Notably, the commune's Party Committee also applies digital technology by creating QR codes that integrate documentary films, stories, articles, images, and many valuable documents about President Ho Chi Minh.

This creates a "living archive" that facilitates the study, research, and application of President Ho's teachings by cadres and Party members.

Many organizations came to learn about President Ho Chi Minh at the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" in Vinh Binh commune.

To commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), Vinh Binh commune organized a ceremony to install a bronze statue of President Ho Chi Minh and launch the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space".

This is a deeply meaningful political and cultural activity, expressing the gratitude of the local Party Committee, government, and people for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh – the brilliant leader of the Vietnamese nation.

The Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space is not only a place to remember and pay tribute to the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, but also a "red address" serving political activities, thematic studies, and traditional education for cadres, Party members, and the people.

At the same time, this is also a place to store and utilize the system of documents about the life, career, thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; documents on Party building work and the local history of Vinh Binh commune.

Many valuable images and documents have been digitized, making research, study, and party branch activities more convenient and modern, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in the current period.

According to Do Quoc Tuan, Director of the Vinh Binh Commune General Service Center, the mobile film screening at the commune's People's Committee headquarters is an opportunity to continue spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, style, and culture to officials, union members, and local people through films rich in historical and humanistic values.

According to Vo Thanh Xuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune , the subordinate Party branches will take turns registering for thematic meetings at the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" every week. Through these meetings, cadres, Party members, and Youth Union members are guided to register for learning and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh through specific and practical actions related to their work and daily lives.

According to Tran Thu Suong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Binh commune, the mobile film screening activity has profound political and cultural significance, contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions and enhancing the spiritual life of the local people.
