Song Lo II Industrial Park is the first industrial park in Song Lo district, with great potential for economic development. Song Lo district authorities have been actively removing difficulties in compensation and site clearance, creating favorable conditions to help infrastructure investors speed up implementation progress, and soon put factories into operation.
The investor of Song Lo II Industrial Park infrastructure is constructing infrastructure and is ready to welcome investors.
Up to now, Song Lo district has handed over 152.7/165.6 hectares to Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (VPID) - the investor of Song Lo II Industrial Park (IP); has approved a plan for 160.6 hectares with compensation and site clearance support costs of over VND471 billion.
The remaining area that needs to be cleared is more than 66,000 m2 of 90 households. The main problems are due to the slow progress of infrastructure construction in resettlement areas, low prices of residential land and garden land, large price differences between land acquisition locations and resettlement locations, and many households have not agreed to the compensation plan.
Song Lo II Industrial Park Project is planned on an area of 165.65 hectares, with a total investment of more than 1,520 billion VND. The project has technical criteria such as maximum construction density of 60%, height of no more than 5 floors. Technical infrastructure land height of no more than 3 floors, density of no more than 60%.
The zone is expected to attract industries such as mechanics, electronics, electrical equipment, construction materials; light industries such as textiles, footwear; cosmetics production, fruit and vegetable processing and preservation.
When completed and put into operation, the industrial park will create jobs for about 13,000 workers, effectively solving employment for people in Song Lo district.
