Binh Dinh ranked second (2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals), while Nghe An ranked third with 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
The dominance of the Hanoi delegation at the tournament not only shows the depth of its forces but also proves the sustainable and systematic development strategy of the city's sports in recent years.
This year's tournament continued to witness the brilliance of many familiar names in the Vietnamese Kickboxing scene. Successful fighters such as Huynh Van Tuan (HCMC), Nguyen Quang Huy and Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy (Hanoi), Bui Thi Yen Nhi ( Hau Giang ) competed impressively, contributing to creating exciting and professional matches.
According to Dr. Vu Duc Thinh - President of the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation, this is an important tournament to help coaches and experts evaluate professional quality, review forces, and prepare for the 33rd SEA Games scheduled to take place at the end of this year in Thailand.
“The tournament is a good opportunity to test performance and select the best athletes for the national team,” Mr. Vu Duc Thinh emphasized.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Dam Cong Dien - in charge of Boxing and Kickboxing (Vietnam Sports Department) said that the outstanding players in this tournament will be called up to the national team, starting from July 1 to December 31 to prepare for the regional arena.
Besides traditional strong units such as Hanoi, Army, Ho Chi Minh City, this year's tournament also witnessed the remarkable rise of some emerging localities in the Kickboxing movement.
Notably, the Bac Giang delegation – a bright spot of the tournament – caused a surprise when it won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 7 bronze medals in the men's category, thereby ranking fourth overall. This achievement is the result of serious and systematic investment from the provincial level, and at the same time shows the strong development potential of Kickboxing in the localities.
The President of the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation assessed that this year's tournament is not only a peak competition but also an opportunity for the sports industry to review the overall development of Kickboxing in localities.
Outstanding achievements at the tournament truly reflect the effectiveness of training and investment at the grassroots level, thereby helping to orient the long-term development strategy for the subject.
The 2025 National Kickboxing Championship has successfully concluded, leaving many clear professional marks and continuing to affirm the growing appeal of this combat sport in the hearts of fans.
Moreover, the positive movements from the movement to the peak also show that Vietnamese Kickboxing is on the right track on the journey of integration and conquering regional and international arenas.
