Check the general survey of agriculture and rural areas

On the afternoon of July 2, the Central monitoring delegation on the general agricultural and rural census led by Mr. Luu Dinh Quy, Head of the statistical survey data collection and processing team, Statistical Survey Board, came to inspect the work of the general agricultural and rural census 2025 in Ca Mau province.

The delegation inspected the information collection work of the investigators at households in Lang Tron ward (Hamlets 16A, 16B, old Phong Tan commune). The investigators used electronic tools such as CAPI (mobile devices) and electronic forms to collect information. Three important groups of information were collected: the current status of agricultural, forestry and fishery production; the current status of rural areas; information on rural residents at households and farms, etc.

At the checkpoints, the team members promptly pointed out some mistakes made by the investigators and gave suggestions on how to ask questions when collecting information.

It is known that the inspection team will conduct field inspections of a number of communes in the province. On July 4, 2025, the team will hold a meeting to review experiences with investigators in the province.
