The inspection activities are carried out to assess the level of compliance with legal regulations on food safety at establishments producing, trading, importing food and catering services, focusing on items serving the Mid-Autumn Festival. Thereby, promptly tracing and recalling unsafe products, strictly handling violations, and at the same time publicizing information on establishments, addresses, and violating products on the media; if there are signs of crime, the case will be transferred to the police according to regulations. This activity contributes to preventing food poisoning, limiting foodborne diseases, and protecting public health.
Through on-site inspections at a number of establishments, the Delegation noted that all units complied with food safety regulations. Preservation, processing and trading procedures were carried out in accordance with regulations, and no violations were detected.
The inspection team reminded the establishments to improve hygiene in production areas and personal hygiene. At the same time, they took food samples at a number of establishments. The samples were sealed and sent to the competent authorities for testing according to regulations.
