Last year, Hong Ngu City implemented the establishment of 12 zoning plans after the City's general planning was approved at the end of 2023.
An Hoa Industrial Cluster (Binh Thanh Commune, Hong Ngu City) is completing detailed planning for implementation. In addition, the City People's Committee proposed the Provincial People's Committee to add 2 new industrial clusters with an area of 98 hectares (including Binh Hung Industrial Cluster 69 hectares and Start-up Industrial Cluster 29 hectares) which has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade .

In 2024, the City will have 44 newly established enterprises (43 enterprises in 2023), 280 newly registered business households, and the collective economy will continue to be consolidated and developed.
Many projects are being implemented on schedule, such as completing the procedures for site clearance of An Hoa Industrial Cluster, and preparing detailed planning tasks as a basis for compensation work; completing procedures and implementing investment in project categories according to Resolution No. 45/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council: Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Vo Nguyen Giap Street - An Loc Ward, roads to the border, roads connecting industrial clusters, urban beautification and environmental improvement of Muong Nha May residential area, urban agricultural infrastructure project; completing compensation and site clearance for An Loc embankment project and handing over the site to the construction unit.

Implement the construction of the Urban Remodeling Project and improve the environment of the residential area of Muong Nha May, the road to the border in Tan Hoi Commune (from Tan Hoi Bridge to Tac Ong Ren Bridge).
Mr. Pham Tan Dat, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Ngu City, said that, promoting the results of the past year, in 2025, Hong Ngu City will continue to strongly improve the investment and business environment, enhance competitiveness, reform administration, provide public services, build e-government; improve scores of important indicators, ensure to maintain the position in the "leading" group of the province in terms of DDCI, PAR INDEX... Build industrial cluster infrastructure, create land fund to call for investment, develop industrial production and business; transport infrastructure, tourism infrastructure, agricultural and rural tourism products associated with OCOP products. Promote tourism and call for investment, develop healthy cultural services, improve the material and cultural life of the people.
