"The Season of Flowers Mother Awaits" is a meaningful program organized to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). One of the highlights of the program was when record holder and sand painting artist Nguyen Tien painted a tribute to the heroic martyrs.
Through delicate brushstrokes on the sand combined with poignant resistance music , the male artist has revived memories of a time of bombs and bullets, bringing to life the image of resilient sons and daughters who sacrificed themselves for national independence.
Each performance touched the hearts of hundreds of spectators, especially young people, thereby contributing to the awakening of gratitude and national pride.
Beyond commemorating those who have fallen, the program also serves as a touching message to today's generation: Follow in the footsteps of your ancestors and build a stronger and more prosperous nation.
In particular, through his works, the male artist wants to widely disseminate to young people the humanitarian values of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27), while promoting the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people: "drinking water, remember the source," and "eating the fruit, remember the one who planted the tree."

"When I received the invitation to participate in a performance with a historical theme, I was very happy. Over the years, I have always pursued works with historical themes, and for me, contributing to conveying historical values through art is an unparalleled honor," the male artist said.
Artist Nguyen Tien is a Vietnamese record holder in sand painting. He has created unique works on stage using various materials such as fire, glitter, electric paintings, knives, sand, etc.

He is also known as a pioneer in the development of sand painting and has contributed to bringing this art form to a wider audience.
"The Season of Flowers My Mother Waits For" is a program created by a group of students in Ho Chi Minh City. The program serves as a touching message of gratitude from the younger generation to their mothers, symbols of sacrifice and waiting throughout history.
Besides sand painting, the program also featured a Vovinam martial arts performance titled "Youth of the Ho Chi Minh Generation," a short play depicting a mother's longing for her child, and a contemporary dance performance titled "The Road Ahead"... Particularly, the closing choral performance of the song "Continuing the Story of Peace " left a profound impression on the audience.
