Memorabilia of Michael Jackson, Bruce Lee, Taylor Swift, BTS on display at exhibition

K-pop band BTS costumes, Michael Jackson memorabilia, Bruce Lee's nunchakus and Taylor Swift's golden boots are on display in a pre-auction exhibition in Hong Kong.

Forty film props and personal items belonging to the late martial artist and film star Bruce Lee are on display at Legends in Motion, an exhibition held by Julien's Auctions until September 27 at Pacific Place in Admiralty. A highlight is a pair of nunchakus used by him in the 1972 action film Fist of Fury , estimated to fetch between HK$156,000 and HK$234,000. Other items include a wooden dummy used by the martial arts star to practice Wing Chun, which he learned from grandmaster Ip Man; and the training shorts and gloves he wore while filming Enter the Dragon (1973).

BTS outfits

The items will be displayed alongside memorabilia belonging to other pop culture icons, such as the outfit worn by K-pop group BTS in the 2020 music video for Life Goes On ; a pair of Taylor Swift-signed yellow knee-high boots that the singer-songwriter wore on her 2009 and 2010 Fearless Tour ; and a denim jacket signed by Michael Jackson, which he wore at the 2002 Bambi Awards, where he was awarded Pop Artist of the Millennium. The items will be sold at the Island Shangri-La auction on September 28, with bidding also available online. This is the first time Julien's Auctions, a private auction house based in Beverly Hills, has held an auction in Hong Kong.
