National Assembly Delegate Chau Quynh Dao - Principal of Ngo Si Lien High School: "An inevitable requirement of development"
The arrangement of provincial administrative units is an inevitable requirement for development, in order to exploit the maximum potential and advantages of localities and regions. Besides the trust and consensus, we also have concerns and worries about upcoming changes, such as the arrangement and rearrangement of the apparatus and personnel; ensuring the rights, regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, teachers and employees... We hope that leaders at all levels and professional agencies will continue to pay attention, listen and promptly respond to legitimate concerns and aspirations; at the same time, ensure the principles of democracy, publicity, transparency and fairness in all decisions related to the teaching staff in particular and the cadres, civil servants and public employees in general.
From this point on, knowledge of some subjects must be adjusted to adapt. The team of managers and teachers wishes to be given the opportunity to participate in training courses to supplement their skills and experience, proactively adapting to the requirements of innovation inthe education sector in the new context.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Head of the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church: "Solidarity, ready to accompany the nation"
We are very happy with the event of “2 provinces becoming one”. We are confident in the spirit of solidarity of Hoa Hao Buddhists, as well as the people in general when merging the province. Hoa Hao Buddhists in the provinces, including An Giang , always support each other in religious activities, especially in building rural bridges and houses. In this term, we are more determined to follow the path of religious practice and doctrinal principles to accompany the nation, and contribute to building and developing our homeland and country.

Colonel Huynh Tri - Hero of the People's Armed Forces, residing in Binh Hoa commune: "Placing trust in the armed forces"
I hope that after the reorganization of the apparatus, the administrative units will meet the requirements of socio-economic development in the new period, overcoming the dispersion, fragmentation, and fragmentation of the boundaries and potentials of the past period. I place my trust in the armed forces of An Giang province. Comrades, please be steadfast in your political will and clearly demonstrate the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers: Absolutely obey the orders of superiors; be ready to undertake and complete well the assigned tasks. Distance, geographical difficulties, and work units are not big problems. We must always uphold the sense of responsibility of a heroic soldier of the Vietnam People's Army, ready to serve the Fatherland and the People.
Secretary of Vinh Binh Commune Party Committee Nguyen Van Thoan: "Creating new growth poles from the advantages of border gates, sea and islands"
The merger of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces demonstrates the strategic vision of the Party and State leaders. After the merger, An Giang province, with its outstanding advantages in terms of geographical location, diverse economic potential, rich cultural identity and abundant social resources, promises to become one of the new strategic economic "poles" of the Southern region. An Giang has full foundations to build coastal economic zones and key border economic zones. I hope that in the future, the province will have enough resources and scale to implement breakthrough development projects, from connecting transport infrastructure to key economic zones, thereby creating more jobs and increasing income for the people.
Ms. Do Thi Luyen - Deputy General Director of Truong Phat Company Limited: "Open and transparent mechanisms are needed for business development"
I hope that after the merger, the An Giang provincial government will promote infrastructure investment, more systematic planning and transparent management, creating a favorable environment for construction enterprises to participate in public-private projects, joining hands to develop a civilized urban and new rural appearance. What I hope most is that the government will listen to the voices of the business community, who are creating jobs every day, contributing to the budget and promoting local socio-economic development. We need not only opportunities, but also companionship, transparency and practical support, especially in this challenging transition period.
Mr. Dang Van Du - Party Cell Secretary, Head of Mac Cuu Quarter, Rach Gia Ward: "Promoting strong tourism development"
I expect that the new An Giang province will have better planning in terms of infrastructure, transportation, increased investment resources, and remarkable socio-economic development, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives. After the province's merger, it promises to create a unique tourist area in the Southwest region, a combination of mountains and sea, spirituality and resort, river and island culture, bringing wonderful experiences to visitors. Hopefully, the provincial leaders will research and find solutions to promote strong tourism development, making a particularly important contribution to the province's economy. What I expect most after the operation of the new An Giang province is that the administrative apparatus will promote effectiveness and efficiency in operations, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new revolutionary period; the 2-level local government model ensures closeness to the people, serving the people better.
Ms. Le Tien Huong - retired cadre of Vinh Xuong commune: "Streamlining the apparatus must go hand in hand with administrative reform"
I hope that after the merger, people's lives will not be disrupted, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority and religious areas. People will be informed promptly and fully about changes related to administrative procedures, apparatus organization and local officials so that we can confidently accompany the government. I hope that the streamlining of the apparatus will go hand in hand with strong administrative procedure reform, synchronous infrastructure investment and attracting investment resources, creating conditions for the new locality to develop faster and stronger. Although merging, the cultural identity and traditions of the homeland will continue to be preserved and promoted in the new administrative unit model. All are working towards the common goal: Building a new, prosperous, civilized and modern land; where "love of land and love of people" are not only geographically connected, but also blend in a common development vision.
Mr. Ly Thua Loi, resident of Rach Gia ward: "The merger of two provinces will create new strength and new stature"
After the merger, An Giang province will converge two cultural and historical streams to create new strength and new stature. This combination will certainly create a harmonious whole, complementing each other for mutual development. I hope that the heritage values will continue to be respected, preserved and promoted; especially historical - cultural relics, unique natural landscapes, especially the Phu Quoc pearl island brand will be considered a priceless common asset, a driving force for development of An Giang province. I believe that in the coming time, the development vision of the new province will harmoniously combine the potential of both lands; promote the strengths of high-tech agriculture with the marine economy - tourism - services, creating a driving force for sustainable, dual growth, bringing a more prosperous and happier life to all people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Vinh Thanh Trung commune: "Young people need to be pioneers and contribute in the transformation period"
After the province's merger, union members and youth, as the vanguard force, need to be responsible for contributing to the realization of the set goals. Faced with new requirements, union members and youth need to be pioneers in grasping accurate information, avoiding being drawn into negative public opinion or misunderstanding the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws. From there, spread a positive spirit, contribute to stabilizing ideology in the community; be a bridge, support the government in propaganda work, especially at the grassroots level. We will contribute to building a population database, supporting digital transformation, contributing ideas, and be ready to take on new tasks.
Mr. Trinh Hoa Nam, residing in My Duc commune: "The homeland is still there"
At first, I was a bit hesitant, because the name of Khanh Hoa commune, Chau Phu district (old) - the land where I was born and spent my whole life - no longer existed. But thinking back, the name may be gone, but the homeland is still there. There are still straight asphalt roads, spacious houses, and lush fields and gardens. After the province was merged and the administrative units at the commune level were arranged, everything went on normally, and people also found it more convenient to carry out administrative procedures, because they only needed to gather them at the new My Duc commune headquarters. I believe that the new My Duc commune will develop further, thanks to the strong investment of all levels and sectors in the coming time.
