The police force has intensified its efforts in gathering intelligence, closely monitoring key individuals, and promptly detecting and preventing violations of the law. Detailed plans for protecting important targets and political , cultural, and social events have been developed and implemented seriously and effectively.

In addition, crime prevention and control efforts have been intensified with many coordinated operational measures. Crimes that commonly occur during holidays, such as theft, robbery, and fraud, are being actively combated and severely punished.
Local police forces are working closely with local authorities to strengthen patrols and controls, promptly resolving incidents from the outset and preventing the formation of hotspots.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Head of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06) of the Provincial Police, said that in order to ensure security and order during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, the PC06 force has proactively implemented a comprehensive set of professional measures, coordinating closely with police units and localities throughout the province.
Accordingly, PC06 and police units at all levels and localities will strengthen residence checks at businesses operating under conditions related to security and order, especially in the areas of accommodation, weapons, explosives, and support tools; and tighten management to prevent safety risks during the peak holiday season. At the same time, they will increase patrol and control forces to cover all areas, closely manage individuals, and prevent any violations of the law.
We have mobilized maximum resources and implemented security measures in key areas, urban areas, and places with large crowds, especially tourist hotspots; at the same time, we have effectively managed various types of individuals, preventing malicious elements from exploiting the holiday to commit illegal acts and destabilize the situation.

In the central tourist area of Da Lat, which is expected to welcome a large number of tourists, the police force has deployed officers on duty 24/7, organizing comprehensive patrols, especially at night.
The management of residency and administrative inspections at accommodation establishments, restaurants, bars, and karaoke venues have been strengthened, contributing to crime prevention and ensuring a safe and civilized tourism environment.

Alongside the task of maintaining security and order, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department has identified ensuring traffic safety as a key priority during the holiday period.
The Traffic Police Department has mobilized maximum resources and personnel, and intensified patrols and inspections on national highways, provincial roads, and key routes leading to tourist areas.
Traffic violations that directly lead to accidents, such as drunk driving, speeding, and driving in the wrong lane, will be strictly enforced according to regulations. At the same time, authorities will organize traffic flow management and regulation from a distance to minimize localized congestion in areas with high traffic volume.

In Mui Ne tourist area, one of the most popular destinations during the holiday season, traffic police, in coordination with local police, have developed a plan to set up checkpoints at key locations to guide and regulate traffic, as well as inspect and handle violations.
With utmost determination, the police force will ensure smooth and safe traffic flow, serving the travel and sightseeing needs of residents and tourists.

In addition to patrolling and monitoring, the police force is also stepping up its efforts to raise public awareness and encourage compliance with the law.
Through mass media and direct outreach at the grassroots level, many messages about traffic safety and crime prevention have been disseminated, contributing to building self-awareness within the community.

Fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations were also implemented seriously.
