The Lam Dong Provincial Center for Archives and Employment Services was established on January 1, 2026, based on the merger of the Lam Dong Provincial Center for Employment Services and the Lam Dong Provincial Center for Historical Archives; the Lam Dong Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery Management Board; the Binh Thuan Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery Management Board; and the management of the Dak Nong Martyrs' Cemetery from the Office of the Department of Internal Affairs.
The center currently has 127 officials and employees; it manages 7 offices and 3 Martyrs' Cemeteries in the province.

In the field of archiving, the center manages approximately 39,553 m³ of documents belonging to 605 archival collections. The center has digitized nearly 623,000 pages of archival documents; and accessed and provided more than 610 files to 433 readers.
The unit is currently facing financial difficulties in implementing large-scale projects for organizing and digitizing archival documents.

In the field of employment, during the first months of 2026, the center provided counseling to nearly 16,900 people; referred nearly 3,000 workers to jobs; organized 34 job fairs; and processed more than 6,500 unemployment benefit applications.

Regarding the management of martyrs' cemeteries, the unit has served more than 124 visiting delegations; assisted tens of thousands of relatives and citizens in searching for information about martyrs' graves; and effectively carried out the work of maintaining and beautifying the landscape, ensuring security and order at the cemeteries.

During the meeting, the Lam Dong Provincial Center for Archives and Employment Services proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allocate funds to implement projects for organizing and digitizing archival documents; and invest in repairing and upgrading some dilapidated facilities at the Dak Nong Martyrs' Cemetery to meet the needs of relatives and delegations visiting and offering incense.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan shared his understanding of the difficulties and acknowledged the efforts of the entire staff, workers, and employees of the unit in their work.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the center to continue to effectively review, organize, and safely preserve archival documents; promote digitalization and digital transformation; and develop a rational management and exploitation approach to maximize the value of archival documents for the benefit of the people and agencies/units.
The unit needs to improve the quality of career counseling and job placement services; effectively carry out the work of maintaining and beautifying martyrs' cemeteries, and provide thoughtful service to relatives and delegations coming to offer incense and pay respects.
Regarding the center's proposals, Comrade Dinh Van Tuan instructed the Provincial Department of Internal Affairs to review, synthesize, and research them, and advise the Provincial People's Committee on their authority to consider and resolve them; at the same time, proactively report and propose to central ministries and agencies to support resources for implementing archival document digitization projects. The work of investing in repairing and upgrading dilapidated facilities at the martyrs' cemetery needs to be given attention and implemented effectively.
Relevant departments and agencies should strengthen coordination, guidance, and address difficulties to ensure the center effectively implements its tasks in the coming period. The center's staff and employees will continue to unite, strive, share, and support each other to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
