At Le Quy Don Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), the atmosphere during football practice is vibrant. Under the guidance of the physical education teacher, the students enthusiastically practice basic techniques such as dribbling, passing, team coordination, and shooting. Although they are still young and many of their ball handling movements are not yet perfected, the excitement and passion for the sport are clearly visible on each face.
Teacher Cao Minh Phuong, a physical education teacher at the school, patiently corrects each movement for his students, from how to position their feet when kicking the ball to their teamwork skills. According to Mr. Phuong, football not only helps students improve their physical fitness but also fosters discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence.

The school's football team currently has 18 members from grades 3 to 5. On average, they have been involved in football for more than two years. To develop the school football movement, the school creates opportunities to select talented and passionate students to join the team.
The school also regularly organizes inter-class tournaments and sends its team to participate in local competitions, creating a beneficial playground for students. Each tournament attracts a large number of parents, teachers, and students to cheer on the participants, creating a lively atmosphere in the school.
Nguyen Hoang Duc, a student in class 5A5, shared: “Every time I get to go out onto the field with my friends, I'm very happy. Through football, I learn how to cooperate with teammates, strive harder in training, and feel healthier and more confident.”

Each match helps me learn more; winning makes me happy, and when we lose, the whole team encourages each other to try harder. I hope the women's football movement in schools will develop further so that more girls can confidently participate in sports,” Anh shared.

Passion and hard work helped Anh and her school's girls' football team win the championship of the inter-school football tournament for two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025; and a gold medal in football at the 2025 Education Sector Sports Games.
